OVERVIEW

Gin Rummy is a timeless game that requires skill and strategy. The objective of the game is to arrange your hand into sets and runs while minimizing the number of "deadwood" cards. The game ends when one player reaches a target score, usually 100 points. It's a race to outsmart your opponent and claim victory.


GAME RULES

  1. Objective: Reduce the amount of "deadwood" in your hand by forming sets and runs.
  • Sets: Groups of cards with the same rank (e.g., three 7s).
  • Runs: Sequential cards of the same suit (e.g., 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • Add the opponent's remaining deadwood points to your own score.
  • Knock or "go gin" (no deadwood) to maximize your points.
  1. Winning:
  • The game is won when a player reaches or exceeds 100 points.
  • Prevent your opponent from reaching 100 points first!
